International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June 2021. The theme for this year was 'Yoga For Wellness' that focuses on practicing yoga for physical and mental wellbeing. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the message of yoga has never been more relevant. To emphasize the importance of yogasana in everyday life NSS BIT Mesra released videos showing some basic asanas performed by our volunteers. On the 21st of June, we organized an instructed session and webinar. We had with us Dr. Vishwas Vasant Mandlik, founder and Yogacharya of Yoga Vidya Dham, Nasik, as our guest of honor. He and his team helped us start the morning with positivity, practicing the ancient science of Yoga.
